Activation guide

Install your Sinda-SG eSIM on iOS and Android in under 2 minutes.

Before you begin

Prerequisites

  • eSIM-compatible device (iPhone XS+, Pixel 3+, Galaxy S20+)
  • Active internet (Wi-Fi or data) to download eSIM profile
  • QR code email from Sinda-SG (sent within 60s of purchase)
  • Second screen or printed QR code for scanning

Installation on iOS

iPhone XS – 16 series, iPad Pro 3rd gen+

Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM

Open Settings, tap Cellular, then "Add Cellular Plan" or "Add eSIM".

Scan QR code

Camera activates automatically. Point at QR from Sinda-SG email.

Confirm & label

Tap "Add Cellular Plan". Label as "Singapore Travel".

Set as data SIM

Select Sinda-SG eSIM for cellular data. Disable "Allow Cellular Data Switching".

Enable Data Roaming

Settings → Cellular → Sinda-SG → Data Roaming ON. Required for connection.

Verify in Singapore

Signal appears automatically. Toggle Airplane Mode if needed.

Installation on Android

Pixel 3+, Galaxy S20+, OnePlus, Xiaomi

Settings → Network → SIMs → Add eSIM

Navigate to network settings, tap "Add eSIM" or "+".

Scan QR code

Select "Scan QR code", point camera at Sinda-SG QR.

Download profile

Tap "Download". Takes ~30 seconds. Select "Not now" if not yet in Singapore.

Activate & configure

Toggle eSIM ON, set as preferred data SIM, enable Data Roaming.

APN (if needed)

Most auto-configure. Manual APN details in your confirmation email.

Troubleshooting

Ensure device is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked. Contact your carrier to confirm eSIM is enabled.
Enable Data Roaming → toggle Airplane Mode → restart device → verify Sinda-SG is active data SIM.
Each QR is single-use. If deleted, email [email protected] for free replacement with your order number.
Yes — recommended. Install at home over Wi-Fi. Validity starts only on first connection in Singapore.
